Prayer is simply talking to God. It is having a conversation with Someone who loves us more than we can imagine. Jesus tells us in the Bible that we do not receive because we do not ask. How we ask of God involves asking in the nature of who God is; His nature is Love. Our prayers for people we care about are acts of love. Relationship experts tell us the same thing that Jesus tells us - the most important thing in our relationships is communication: listen to one another, talk to one another, share your hearts. Prayer is a way of sharing our hearts with those we love and with the One who loves us - God.
